My top 3 tools

Favorite Tools

These are the tools I use most often and could not do without!

Silicone Mats

Premium Thick Silicone Mat: 1mm thick silicone mat, made of high quality silicone, thick, flexible, tearing-resistant, not easy to rip or fade, durable & long-lasting. Also heat-resistant, well protect your craft table. Both sides with strong friction, won’t slip and curl up, the objects on it won’t move on their own. Nonstick & Cleaned Easily: Resin, glue, paint won’t stick to the mat, and can be easily peeled off after cured. Other residue like paper crap, glitter, alcohol ink etc can be easily shaken off, rinsed off, or cleaned off with warm soapy water.

Multi Angle Miter Sheer

This tool is perfect for cutting wood strips, popsicle sticks and other smaller pieces of trim. From straight cuts to a variety of angle cuts, the tool is super easy to use!

Easy Read Ruler

The perfect stainless steel, cork backed ruler with vivid white 1/4″, 1/8″ and 1/16″ increments on the SAE side, millimeter markings on the metric side. 12″ long. I love this ruler and use it constantly!

A word about Cardstock . . .

I use several types of cardstock in my crafts, but in the last few years, I’ve stuck with AC Cardstock from the 12×12 Cardstock shop.  I’m an affiliate with them and do earn a small fee each time my link is used and you make a purchase. This is at no extra cost to the buyer, and it helps support this blog in purchasing supplies to offer more projects.

NOTE: I occasionally purchase black and white AC Cardstock from Amazon (see image link down the page) in bulk packages.

MUST HAVE TOOLS AND FAVES

  • Folk Art Acrylic Paint – the ONLY paint brand I like to use! I’m especially fond of the “multi-surface” and “terra cotta” paints.
  • Miter Sheers – the perfect tool for cutting small pieces of wood and to miter corners
  • Silicone Mat – save your desk with this super easy to clean silicone mat
  • Scribe Tool – great for creating wood textures
  • 1-2-3 Blocks – for weights while glue dries and keeping parts aligned while gluing
  • Steel Ruler – my ultimate ruler!
