I had so much fun creating my first modern-style house, which is a combination of three different inspiration houses. A simple construction, both beginners and advanced mini makers should find this a fun project, and I hope you love it as much as I do. The house features high ceilings, a vaulted ceiling, a decorative ceiling, a floating staircase, and large openings between some rooms.

• Finished size (W/O Base) – 12″w, 9″h, 5.1/2″d. With base: 13 1/2″w, 9 1/8″h, 6″d
• Features: a decorative wood ceiling in the living room, a fireplace, and wood beams for the bedroom ceiling. Larger openings from the entry to the living room and from the living room to the kitchen. In the hallway, there is a unique floating staircase.
• The walls and rooms are pretty much set to be built as seen in the photos. Making changes would cause pieces to be out of line or not fit, so please consider this.

KIT INCLUDES:

• laser-cut wood in 1/8″ and 1/16″ sizes – structure, windows, and doors
• full sheet of black cardstock for windows
• full sheet of plastic for windows
• 12×12 sheet of printed flooring
• printed tile sticker sheet for the kitchen area
• square dowel for creating ceiling beams
• MDF base (some hand cutting required)

You will need the following items to complete construction . . .

• wood or other quick dry glue
• craft knife
• acrylic paint, texture paint for walls if you like that style
• masking or blue tape (for base parts)
• scissors
